Animal Advisory Committee Minutes- January 4, 2012
Attending: Martin Haspel, Kerry Reid, Chief Edward Kulhawik, ACO Diana Back
Chair Martin Haspel called the meeting to order at 6:40pm. Chief Kulhawik proceeded to fill in those attending on current cases of problematic behavior: roaming dogs, excessive number of dogs, owner attitudes, etc.
ACO Back indicated that things were generally quiet at this point.
General Discussion followed: ACO back will function as gatekeeper and notify the AAC as need arises for input.
A motion to approve the minutes of the December 7, 2011 meeting was made by Kerry Reid and seconded by Joane Baldauf. The motion was approved unanimously.
Flyers for the orientation meeting of the Outer Cape Animal Shelter Team which is associated with Cape Cod DART and sited for Nauset High School were distributed to the Committee. The next meeting will be held on February 1, 2012, or as needed. The meeting adjourned at 7:23 pm.
